Description
Irwin Seating was looking for a way to show display it's products. The challenge was that Irwin Seating has thousands of product variations. Instead of selling preconfigured seats, Irwin Seating has a system of components that allow facility managers and the A&D community to build the perfect seat for their project whether that's a stadium, a performance hall, or a class room.
As part of the Pageworks team I built a site that allowed users to navigate the wide range of products offered by Irwin Seating according to their preference. Some users preferred to find their desired configuration by diving into the component hierarchy while others chose to look at suggested configurations based on the facility they were furnishing. The end result was a site that allowed users to easily find their desired products and supporting materials, performed well from an SEO perspective, and drove home the point that Irwin's options were near limitless.
Additionally, I developed a system for Irwin's telescopic dealers and specifiers to input requirements for their bleacher and telescopic seating. Once this logic filled form was completed the results could be submitted to Irwin where they were automatically rendered into PDF or CAD drawings for the user. This helped Irwin Telescopic save time and money, track upcoming telescopic projects, and allowed the user to keep a central library of their submitted requests.
